Legal Compliance Framework

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: May 31, 2026

1. Executive Overview & Scope

This Privacy Policy governs the processing of data collected or handled by the Cam application, owned and operated by Zella Softwares (referred to alternatively as Zella Software Group). This document is optimized for complete transparency under United States Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines, state-specific data protection statutes (including California CCPA/CPRA, Virginia VCDPA), and global distribution regulations.

Cam acts primarily as an offline-first multimedia utility application offering image processing, video layout modifications, asset generation, and utility scanning vectors. Server-side data processing is strictly isolated to opt-in account synchronizations and ecosystem platform integrations.

2. Offline Processing Architecture & Zero-Retention Local Edge

Local Processing Assurance

All core content utilities operate strictly within local memory buffers on your device client architecture.

Unless you explicitly trigger a network-based social publishing feature, your assets—including trimmed videos, cropped images, aspect ratio configurations, captions, sound overlays, background removals, asset layouts, customized icons, banner projects, SVG assets, and scanned QR code contents—are computed entirely at the device edge. Zella Softwares does not upload, review, analyze, or cache your local editing files on our servers.

3. User Account Credentials & Secure Transmission

For fundamental local editing, utility tools, and asset building operations, Cam requires no registration, signup, or authentication profile.

When you choose to engage with cloud interactions, publishing queues, or social timeline synchronization feeds, registration is mandatory. We collect your Email Address and Password. Your password credentials undergo strong salt derivations and cryptographic hashing transformations before being written to persistent storage databases. We maintain technical, administrative, and physical safeguards designed to shield authentication profiles against unauthorized penetration vectors.

4. Pitcha Ecosystem & Mutual Data Shares

Cam is deeply integrated with Pitcha, our sibling social network application platform operating under the unified umbrella of Zella Softwares.

When you initiate a "Post" or "Share" action inside Cam to publish edited works onto the public feed network, you explicitly authorize a direct data transfer event. Your user metadata, account token identifiers, and the designated multimedia content elements are shared seamlessly with Pitcha servers to enable timeline processing, viewing permissions, interactions, global delivery network cache pipelines, and user comments. Content transmitted via this synchronization bridge must conform strictly to the safe-for-work guidelines highlighted in our Terms.

5. Children's Privacy Framework (COPPA & Age Verification)

Our services are configured exclusively for users who have reached at least 13 years of age. In strict compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), Zella Softwares does not intentionally collect, archive, request, or parse any identifier records from children under the age of 13.

If you are a parent or lawful guardian and discover that an underage child has bypassed local verification checkpoints and provisioned server-side accounts or cloud metadata sync profiles, contact our compliance team immediately at support@pitcha.org. We will permanently wipe the account index and clear cached elements within 48 hours of verification.

6. Automated Advertising Networks

To subsidize baseline infrastructure costs and provide programmatic offline tools without charge walls, Cam delivers digital advertising structures within the interface layout. These networks utilize device hardware markers, anonymous network identifiers, or localized diagnostic states to serve advertising layouts.

These external tracking nodes may harvest device fingerprints, geolocation estimates, and application performance analytics subject to their own separate privacy guidelines. You can adjust targeted advertisement access at any time via your system-level OS permission settings.

7. United States Jurisdictional Consumer Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

Under American state privacy regulations, citizens retain defined enforceable statutory rights regarding their personal datasets:

  • Right to Know: Verify if personal information is actively parsed, shared, or transferred.
  • Right to Correction: Request immediate changes to faulty email identifiers.
  • Right to Erasure: Purge account records, shared media pipelines, and server profile indices.
  • Right to Opt-Out: Restrict third-party data brokerage or ad targeting schemas.

Exercising these rights will never trigger punitive interface access rollbacks or discriminatory adjustments to your base offline utility access tools.
