1. Architectural Philosophy: Minimal Collection by Design
Pitcha operates on a transparent, two-tier privacy architecture designed to eliminate unnecessary data harvesting:
We do not collect, record, harvest, or track personal identification data. Unauthenticated visitors can stream, download, and play games without submitting identifying credentials.
Personal data is collected solely to authenticate accounts, process uploads, manage voluntary donations, and protect platform infrastructure. Data is securely partitioned and never sold.
2. Information Handling for Non-Authenticated (Guest) Users
If you access Pitcha or the Pitcha App without logging in:
- No Profile Creation: We do not request or store your name, email, physical address, or phone number.
- Transient Delivery Telemetry: Server endpoints process standard technical HTTP variables (such as temporary routing IPs, browser user-agents, and bandwidth consumption metrics) strictly in volatile memory to deliver media streams and game assets. This data is not linked to your identity.
- Local Device Storage: Local game states, volume settings, and interface themes are saved on your local device client and are not synchronized to our database.
3. Information Collected for Registered & Submitting Users
When you create an account, upload media, or submit files through the Pitcha web interface or Pitcha App, we collect:
- Account Identity: Email address, chosen public username, display nickname, and account password. Passwords undergo irreversible salt-and-hash cryptographic transformation prior to storage; plaintext passwords are never processed or retained.
- Uploaded Video & File Records: Storage keys, file size, video runtime, tags, thumbnail allocations, upload timestamps, and associated user IDs for files you publish or download.
- Interactions & Likes: User-initiated movie likes, view logs, and comment text.
- Game Progress: Cloud-synchronized game grades, cleared stages, and virtual item counts associated with your account profile.
4. Advertisements, Analytics & Third-Party Processors
Ad Displays: Pitcha serves advertisements across the web portal, the Pitcha App, and gaming environments. Advertising partners may utilize non-identifying device tags (such as Google Mobile Advertising IDs) to prevent fraudulent clicks, manage frequency caps, and serve ads.
Voluntary Donations: Financial contributions are processed through verified third-party payment gateways. Pitcha does not handle, store, or process raw credit card numbers or banking credentials. We receive only transaction confirmation tokens and donation amounts.
5. Data Security & Storage Practices
- Database Isolation: User data is maintained within secure databases protected by access controls, connection pooling, and boundary firewalls.
- Secure Cookie Infrastructure: Web browser session authentication uses secure,
HttpOnly,SameSite=Laxcookies, shielding tokens from unauthorized client-side access. - Zero Commercial Brokering: Pitcha does not sell, trade, license, or lease personal identifiers, emails, or submission profiles to commercial brokers, marketing agencies, or data aggregators.
6. User Rights & Data Management
Registered users retain full control over their account data:
- Access & Updating: You may review and update your username, display name, and password through account settings on the web or Pitcha App.
- Data Erasure: You may request complete account deletion at any time. Account deletion terminates associated credentials, revokes active session tokens, and removes personal markers from our database records.
- Opt-Out of Account Usage: You may continue to use Pitcha in guest mode by logging out and clearing your browser storage or app cache.
